The Story of Sunflower Singers Norfolk

Sue Lane has been leading choirs since 2009 when she founded Tittleshall Ladies' Male Voice Choir in the tiny village of Tittleshall. She subsequently became MD of Fakenham Community Choir, having joined as a singer in 2008.
Like all choirs in the UK, both groups had become wonderful communities where people could sing with friends. But then Covid hit, and for a couple of years there was very little music and virtually no community. Recovery was slow and so Sue decided to restart Fakenham and Tittleshall as The Sunflower Singers. One is still based in Tittleshall, but the other now lives in Hempton, just outside Fakenham.
So what do The Sunflower Singers have that makes them different? Well beside Sue's commitment to welcoming singers of all abilities and her experience of teaching songs in the oral tradition, it's also fun.
