I have been a member of this wonderful choir for around 8 years. They are a friendly bunch of men and women. Sue Lane, our conductor, is an encouraging and kind person. Before Covid hit us all we were doing 2-3 concerts a year. Singing uplifts your spirits and takes away any trials you are going through for a short time. Almost forgot - there is the cake and tea in the break.

I always look forward to Thursday evenings, singing with Sue. I have made really good friends within the choir, always have lots of fun and laughter, and come away feeling so uplifted. We sing a wide variety of songs, all learnt by ear, and with gorgeous harmonies. It's the highlight of my week!

Joining the choir has been a wonderfully positive experience for me. Finding myself on my own for the first time in 48 years was not something I would ever have chosen, but the choir was so welcoming and friendly and there is something about singing together in a group, when everyone suddenly gets it right, that is incredibly uplifting.

Being part of the choir was a great escapism from the stresses of work. Great opportunity to make friends while learning to sing all types of new songs and an opportunity for lots of laughs too. Cannot recommend enough. If you think you can't sing it doesn't matter as you can find your happy place in a choir led by Sue.

It's a wonderful welcoming group, full of lovely people. It's uplifting to the soul when the voices mingle and produce beauty. The human voice is a wonderful instrument, and the joy of singing together can be tear inducing - either with laughter or happiness or both.

I love coming to choir; singing cheers me up. I always come away from choir feeling uplifted. It's lovely to meet friends each week. We sing lots of different stuff and I look forward to it every week. And then of course, there's the cake.
